Issue/Introduction

Upgrading to CA7 12.1.  Generated installation JCLLIB member L2C1RIM has this:

* THE NEXT CARD IS FOR CAISSF INITIALIZATION.
* DELETE IT IF THERE IS ONE ALREADY PRESENT.
PRODUCT(CAISSF) VERSION(S910) INIT(S910INIT)
PRODUCT(CA 7) VERSION(L2C1)

The CAS9 CCAIRIM procedure already has this:

PRODUCT(CAIRIM) VERSION(S910) INIT(CAS9INIT)

Is this the same thing?

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA 7

Resolution

S910INIT is the old name of the SSF initialization module, the new name is CAS9INIT.

Starting with release 12.0 and higher use the following to initialize SSF:

PRODUCT(CAIRIM) VERSION(CAS9) INIT(CAS9INIT)

There is no need to reinstall SSF if the above statement is already in the CAS9 proc.
