HTTP Error 413.1 - Request Entity Too Large
The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large.
In some cases, if the maxRequestLength, MaxUrlLength and UploadReadAheadSize are increased in the IIS, the error page will be different. It will show the generic error page with the error in the logs:
HTTP Request failed:
/Altiris/AltirisNSAutomation/AutomationPolicyUI/dlgEditActionParamsMapping.aspx?name=CornerStone+Organizational+Group+Automation&actionGuid=0607cc9f-1d2a-4283-8dfe-505340520a39&sessionKey=8ab2dd92-4f78-41f8-9496-9250d97e0470&readonly=False
Maximum request length exceeded.
8.5
Default maxRequestLength in the default Web.config file is less than what it is needed.
You can also check the article: The request failed with HTTP status 413: Request Entity Too Large.
Check the Windows Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application Logs.
There should be some warnings showing the exact Web.Config file which causes the issue. The provided solution was for Altiris NS Automation Web Config, but you can get the similar error in different pages and in Application Logs you can find the patch for that file:
