Perfoming cut over to UIM 20.3.3 in Prod. The soi-uim catalyst connector is offline on SOI admin page

Issue/Introduction

We are cutting UIM server from 9.2.0 to 20.3.3 in Prod env this morning.  I removed the old SOI UIM connector and catalyst container.  I then reinstall the catalyst container and UIM connetor to connect to the new UIM server.  The uim connector came up online fine and I can see alerts in SOI from the new UIM server.  However, the catalyst connector is offline on the admin page and also the SOI connector status icon is showing both the old the new UIM connectors.

Resolution

The old UIM connector was not removed properly using the remove option in the Connector configuration page.

The old UIM connector entry was still in the connectorconfiguration table and there were still data associated with the old UIM connector.

 

We had to use the soitoolbox utility to delete all data from the old UIM connector.

Once that was done, we deleted the entry from the connectorconfiguration table.
