Issue/Introduction

Getting the following messages when starting CA 7 r12.0 or r12.1 

CA-7.V152 E V002 (048E) DBPARMS LITERAL NOT FOUND OR IN INCORRECT ORDER: DATACOM
CA-7.V703 E V000 (0822) RC=0008 REAS=0020 ERROR RETURNED FROM CONTROL CARD PARSE ROUTINE SASSV002
CA-7.955 - DATABASE ERROR ATTEMPTING TO INIT/CONN, RC=000C

 

Environment

Release : 12.0, 12.1

 

Resolution

DBPARMS DD in the CA 7 started task does not have the correct logical database keyword in it.  Below is a sample of what should be in DBPARMS:

DATACOM(NAME(ca7database))
