Unable to change admin user password in new DX NetOps Portal install

CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration DX NetOps


Logging in to a new DX NetOps installation as the default system admin user for the first time post install.

It accepts the default admin:admin login credentials, states the password is expired and asks for it to be changed.

When trying to change it the new password fields won't accept the new password being set. The boxes never both go Green/Good and the Submit button never becomes active.


Using a password that contains the user name.


All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases


Ensure the password meets all requirements, including not using the user name in the password.

In this case instead of having 'admin' in the password, change it to something like 'adm1n' replacing the letter 'i' with a number 1.
