Issue/Introduction

We are using Fast Data Masker tool to perform obfuscation on large tables having data records more than 100 million in sql server database. During the execution of obfuscation scripts, all the storage in C drive is getting consumed.

The storage is not getting freed up even after the execution is completed.

Please suggest on how to optimize storage while obfuscating data in Large tables.

Environment

Release : 4.9

Component : CA Test Data Manager - Others

Resolution

We noticed there are few heapdump files created in FDM installation directory.

These hprof files are heapdump files. You can delete thess file before starting masking scripts to free up the space.
