Issue/Introduction

How calculation for IPC processes counter is done using processes probe 

 

i.e "QOS_IPC_PROCESSES_COUNT" is calculated in processes probes

 

Example alarm

 

Current number of Processes Count is 76352, which is above the error threshold (3000)

Resolution

1) For linux command used is 

     ps auxh | wc -l

2) For windows using an API RegQueryValueEx with registry key HKEY_PERFORMANCE_DATA
