Issue/Introduction

 

CA SDM r17.3 - Windows Server 2016 + remote MDB: MS SQL 2016 Active-Passive Cluster.

We are going to launch an in-place upgrade of MS SQL 2016 to MS SQL 2019.

Not sure if MS SQL 2019 Active-passive cluster is supported for MDB of CA SDM 17.3.

Release : 17.3

Component : SERVICE DESK MANAGER

Resolution

* MS SQL 2019 is supported Yes as per the  Supportability Matrix 17.3

* active-passive cluster was not tested yet 

* If you are already using MS SQL 2016 active-passive cluster 2019 should work the same thanks for the new information.

*But it will be out of our support scope and your DBA should be the one who can answer about it more.
