Issue/Introduction

Does IBM APAR UA96475 will impact on SymDump for CICS r10 or r11?

IBM APAR UA96475 with the following ACTION item:

Software must no longer reference the IHAPSA field PSASTAK.

With this PTF, PSASTAK is no longer the beginning of the normal FRR stack.

PSACSTK is an existing pointer to the beginning of the normal FRR stack.

Software that references PSASTAK must be converted to use

PACSTK as the pointer to the normal FRR stack.

Resolution

SymDump for CICS does not use PSASTAK and is not affected by UA96475. This is true for both releases 10 & 11.
