CA Service Management - Service Desk Manager CA Service Desk Manager

We're trying to change the name of "problems" to something else, for example, "Testing" since a specific team will be working on those, and we don't want the tickets to hold a negative connotation. We've managed to alter some details using WSP, but we wondered how to change the problem object in the Go Button details. Unfortunately, this seems to pull based on roles and doesn't actually list "Problems" in the HTMPL pages.

CA Service Desk Manager 17.1 and higher.

Steps to update the Go button list box:

  1. Login into the CA Service Desk application with Administrator access type.
  2. Navigate the Administration tab--> Security and Role Management --> Role Management --> Web Forms
  3. Click on the Show filter button and enter "%go_pr%" in the Code text field.
  4. Click on the Search button.
  5. Click on problem name link and Click on the edit button.
  6. Update webForm Name with "Testing" and Click on the Save button.
  7. Logout the CA Service Desk application.
  8. Login into the CA Service Desk application with Any analyst role.

Now we should have a new name like "Testing" in the go button list box.
