Administrative UI installation fails

Issue/Introduction

Description:

The Administrative UI installation fails, with the following error message:

"The CA SiteMinder Administrative UI installation failed because a required component failed to install."

In the CA_IAM_Suite_InstallLog.log, we can see the error:

"Modify Text File - Single File:   No Target Chosen
                          Status: ERROR
                          Additional Notes: ERROR - Unable to locate ASCII text file to be manipulated.  Deferring..."

Solution:

This may happen in case of reinstallation of the Administrative UI, or if the installation had failed previously but had created registry files.

1. Check you have enough tmp space
2. Delete (or rename) the 3 registry files:
   /<WAMUI installation folder>/.Admin_UI_Prerequisite_Registry.registry
   /<WAMUI installation folder>/.CA_IAM_FW.registry
   /<WAMUI installation folder>/.com.zerog.registry.xml
