Issue/Introduction

Users accessing internet via WSS using Explicit access method

Users unable to access certain reports from MS Dynamics

After being presented with a Microsoft login link when initially accessing the WebApp, they are again prompted to login to Microsoft when accessing the local reporting tool. As soon as they submit the credentials, the following 'An error occured while sending the request' error message is rendered on the App page

 

 

Cause

The MS Dynamics Application had certificate pinning issues with the certificates returned - the event logs confirmed this 

 

Resolution

Bypass login.windows.net, login.microsoftonline.com from SSL inspection/interception; or bypass these domains from WSS completely.
