How to migrate Jaspersoft to another server with Clarity

Issue/Introduction

How to configure Jasper server after migration to another server. 

Jaspersoft reportservice url is giving HTTP 404 error while accessing directly from server IP and port, even after doing changes in jasper file under .jaspersoft folder.

The steps can also be used to copy files from an upgraded Jaspersoft server to the second server in cluster.

Environment

Any Supported Clarity releases with Jaspersoft

Resolution

After migration: 

1. Update the files below with the correct server information:

• Default properties file available in .jaspersoft folder ($jasper_tomcat\.jaspersoft\default_master.properties) 
• Context.xml file available in META-INF folder ($jasper_tomcat\webappseportservice\META-INF\context.xml)

2. Run the commands on the Clarity server:

• admin jaspersoft keystore
• admin jaspersoft syncPPMContext -userName superuser -password superuser
