The CBS index has been defined as being VIRTUAL in Multi-User startup options using VIRTUAL 006, size .
However, the application got an error message DB02701E - CBS IXX00006 FULL. Even though the CBS size was increased in the Multi-User option, the application still fails with the same error. What is wrong?
z/VSE
This is typically the result of a DATASPACE setting that is too small.
For z/VSE, the MUF Startup Option DATASPACE indicates the size Data Space created during MUF startup. This size should be large enough to accommodate all entries in the VIRTUAL/COVERED MUF Startup Options. If this size is not large enough then the VIRTUAL/COVERED area sizes are limited to the available space and no warning is given.
A MUF EOJ report or an SQL query on SYSADM.MUF_COVEREDVIRTUAL shows the real allocated size. This value will help you manage your DATASPACE setting.
