Connector-specific initialization failed: Connector is reporting problems interfacing with the domain manager. isSystemUp() returned false

Issue/Introduction

UIM SOI installed connector shows below error :-

Specific initialization failed: Connector is reporting problems interfacing with the domain manager. isSystemUp() returned false

UIM connector shows :

controller.AlarmCache - Unable to save Alarmcache: GC overhead limit exceeded

Environment

UIM connector 3.9.3
Catalyst container 3.4.4

Resolution

Follow the below step:-

1) Stop CatalystContainer service

2) Go to folder CatalystConnector\registry\topology\physical\_CatalystConnector\modules\configuration and  backup then edit Nimsoftconnector.conf

3) Search for property "OutboundFromConnectorTypes" and remove "Database" from comma separated list

4) Save file and Start Catalyst Container service
