Limited admin account cannot export client installer packages from Endpoint Protection Manager

Issue/Introduction

Limited administrative account cannot export client installer packages from Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM). Either the Export option is grayed-out and disabled or missing, or there is no response when selecting Export.

Cause

SEPM limited administrator accounts currently need to have full access at least to the root of the client group structure (My Company) and full access to any additional groups from which they want to export client installers.

Symantec is aware of this issue and is investigating.

Resolution

Ensure SEPM limited admins have full access at least to the root of the client group structure (My Company) and full access to any additional groups from which they want to export client installers. This article will be updated when there is new information.
