DX OI Connector install user for DX NetOps integration

Issue/Introduction

Before installing the DX OI Connector 2.1.1 we need to know what kind of user is required.

Does the OI Connector require "root" user to install it? Can we install it as a non-root user?

What install user is required for installing the DX OI Connector for DX NetOps Performance Management integration?

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management OI Connector releases

All supported DX Operational Intelligence releases

Resolution

At this time there is no support for non-root users when installing the OI Connector.

The root user is the only supported user at this time.
