CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

How can we pull out a report from Symantec PAM that gives us the details of the DB instances\schemas that are vaulted?

Example the following Oracle DB Schema:

Environment

Release : 3.4.x, 4.0

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Resolution

The best way to accomplish this is by using PAM's the following remotecli command:

example for all Oracle Accounts:

capam_command.bat capam=<pam server> adminUserID=<super or admin user> adminpassword=<password> cmdName=searchTargetAccount TargetApplication.type=oracle

Than you would need to look for:

<Attribute.schema>

or if using an OID:

<Attribute.sid>

<Attribute.cn>
