Endevor EINE V18.0 PTF PRE and SUP requirements

Issue/Introduction

 Endevor Natural Interface - EINE - the PTFs are normally full EINELIB Natural code replacements and all previous EINE PTFs are SUP. 

 Why are these EINE PTFs marked as PRE:

           PRE ( RO84826 RO98451 RO99687 SO05552 SO07588 SO08873 )

Resolution

• RO84826, RO98451: Both contain HOLDDATA with a manual action that needs to be done as part of PTF apply
• RO99687: Contains other element than just NATLOAD (SITESYME in the JCL sample library CEW8JCL )
• SO05552: Contains other element than just NATLOAD (DEFTYPE in the JCL sample library CEW8JCL )
• SO07588, SO08873: The MFA fixes, both have HOLDDATA describing how to use a batch job to update EINE after the PTFs are applied   

 

These PRE PTFs only need to be SMPE Received and Applied.

-  Review the HOLDDATA for RO84826, RO98451, SO07588 and SO08873

-  Review the new SITESYME and DEFTYPE CEW8JCL members and make adjustments as needed.

 

The LOADNAT job to update the Natural EINELIB library only needs to be run for the last PTF being applied.  The NATLAOD member is a full replacement of the EINELIB Natural code.
