Issue/Introduction

After applying SO15947, I received this error message in DDUPDATE. Performing the follow-up hold actions to add the new dynamic system table database CASYSTEMTABLES with member BTG1000.

-BTG TABLE,DIR_AREA(T001) 

**** ERROR ****  RETURN CODE = DDPNYS0210  INTERNAL - NOT YET SUPPORTED

The same problem occurs with the DDUPDATEs for PTF SO16036.

 

Environment

Release : 15.1

Component : CA DATACOM DATADICTIONARY

Cause

The problem occurs because the datadictionary database dbid 002 is from an older release, not at the 15.0/15.1 level.

In this case it was updated correctly during the upgrade but an older version was later incorrectly restored together with the user database restores.

The datadictionary must be at the 15.0/15.1 level to add the 15.1 dynamic system table definitions.

 

Resolution

To resolve the problem either:

• Restore the 15.1 datadictionary database dbid 002 from a backup.
  or
• Rerun installation job AXNEW01 to recreate the 15.1 MUF then run the jobs to redefine the using product database (i.e.. Jobtrac, CA 7, etc)
