Software update failed to install on Symantec Management Agent

Issue/Introduction

Patch failed to install on agent. 

Also tried to install it manually from the Package Delivery folder, but again it failed:

C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Agents\SoftwareManagement\Software Delivery\{Package GUID}\Cache

Cause

In this case, based on the error in Windows System Event Logs, more free space was required in the C:\ Drive

 

• Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070070: Security Update for Windows (KB5004238).

 

Resolution

Based on the error in the System Event Logs, we increased the free space on C:\ drive
