Field is not populating in table as expected

Issue/Introduction

We created a new child department that shows fine on the ui with a new parent. When we look at the departments table it does not show a parent id for the department

Environment

Release : 15.9.1

Component : CA PPM APPLICATION

Cause

This was caused by a custom attribute being populated and not the OOTB Parent Department attribute.

Resolution

If you see unexpected results, make sure you are using the OOTB attributes.
