Issue/Introduction

What happens when end users are accessing Jasper from SDM as part of Insights, and how does the contactUUID field on Jasper get populated.

Environment

Release : 17.1 and higher

Component : JASPERSOFT REPORTS FOR SERVICE MANAGEMENT

Resolution

The contactUUID field in a Jasper contact record is automatically populated by the existing integration.  

When accessing Insights for the 1st time, if the user does not exist in JasperSoft, the integration should create the user automatically.  The contactUUID field is populated by the integration and is not a field that requires end user intervention.
