Issue/Introduction

After upgraded to 14.0 from 13.0 hserver does not start. HServer log showed

ERROR: E0302004c: The CA Harvest SCM database version (130000 ) does not match the server (140000 ).

Environment

Release : 14.0, Linux/Oracle database

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Mgr Premium Edition

Resolution

The Harvest Repository needs to be updated

To do this:

Re-run hdbsetup 

Make sure you Select the UR - Upgrade Repository

The log file now should show the Oracle db repository successfully upgraded

Then start Harvest server.

Additional Information

The same could happen if upgrade is from 14.0 to 14.5 with similar error message

ERROR: E0302004c: The CA Harvest SCM database version (140000 ) does not match the server (145000 ).

And the resolution is the same.
