Examining logs from Upgrade to 17.3

Issue/Introduction

A brief description of reviewing for any errors in the logging from a given upgrade. 

Environment

Release : 14.1

Component : SVC DESK UPGRADE

Resolution

The %TEMP%\casm directory will contain the installation logs.  In this directory, one may find an install.log.  Searching through the logs for any entries with either Exit or Error will yield results that may be of concern.  There will also be other log materials referenced that can be examined separately.

This set of entries suggest that the locale patch may not have installed successfully.

Error appears to be from execution of this entry:

The above updates the GENLEVEL file for the version, which would be a cosmetic item and does not impact operations.
