Despite adding the account to be used as the IT Analytics (ITA) service account to the local administrators group, the ITA installer returns the following message:
The requested service 'http://<hostname>/ITAnalytics/Services/ServerPrerequisitesService.svc' could not be activated.
The Windows Application log contains the following error:

This is caused by the .NET trust level specified in the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager being set to a value other than Full (internal).
