Cause

This is caused by the .NET trust level specified in the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager being set to a value other than Full (internal)

Resolution

Set the .NET trust level for the application (IIS) server to Full (internal) by doing the following:

  1. On the server hosting the IT Analytics application, open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
  2. Click on the server's hostname in the Connections pane
  3. In the Features View, under the ASP.NET heading, double-click the .NET Trust Levels icon
  4. From the Trust level dropdown menu, select Full (internal)
  5. Click the Apply button in the Actions pane
