Issue/Introduction

A Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14.3 RU1 or newer Linux agent configured to use more than one internal LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) only attempts to download content from the last LUA configured in the list.

Environment

SEP 14.3 RU1 or newer Linux agent.

Cause

If more than one internal LiveUpdate server is specified in the Linux Settings -> Server Settings section of the LiveUpdate Settings policy, the SEP Linux agent will only try to download content from the last LUA on the list.

Resolution

As a workaround, only use one internal LiveUpdate server in the Linux Server Settings section of the LiveUpdate Settings policy.  This will ensure the Linux agents only reaches out to the desired LUA.
