Ability to save Department Name with slash (/) character

Issue/Introduction

It is possible to modify the Department Name on the Departments List view to include the forward slash (/) character. The Department Name should not allow this character as part of its name to be saved.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. In Classic UI, go to the Departments List view 
   Home => Organization => Departments 
   http://<clarity_hostname>/niku/nu#action:revmgr.departmentList 
2. For an existing Department, click into the Department name cell from the list 
3. Change its name, and include the forward slash character (/) as part of the name 
   For example: Development/Test
4. Click the 'Save' button 

Expected Results: The Department Name is not saved, and the error is displayed ERROR OBS-0221: Slash character not allowed. 

Actual Results: The Department Name is saved with the slash character causing various potential problems on the application.

Cause

Resolution

Fixed in Release 16.0.0.

Workaround: Revert the changes to exclude the (/) slash character from the name.
