Issue/Introduction

Can you advise if turning off TLSv1.0 protocol and disabling DES, 3DES, IDEA or RC2 ciphers cause any issues from a TDM functionality perspective?

Environment

Release : 4.9

Component : CA Test Data Manager - Others

Resolution

Disable, test, and confirm that TDM still works.  If there is an issue, simply re-enable and let us know so we can prioritize it.

The majority of the entries is not related to TDM at all - for example 3389 is a port for Remote Desktop Service which is part of Microsoft Windows operating system (so you should contact Microsoft for support or simply disable this service if you are not using this feature). The only relevant (as far as I can tell) are the first two lines with port 8443 (which is Portal service - or to be precise the Tomcat which is used by this service). The version of SSL protocol can be controlled by server.xml file but the latest versions are already using TLSv1.2 out of the box.
