INST0050 was not run and GSVX206E Nucleus init failed

Issue/Introduction

Upgrading SYSVIEW 16.0, facing error messages while accessing SYSVIEW with TSO/ISPF: 

GSV4200W You are not authorized to use the TSO interface
GSVX037I User not authorized for SYSVIEW thru the TSO interface
GSVX206E Nucleus init failed, reason 15 user not authorized for interface

Environment

SYSVIEW 15.0 & 16.0 - z/OS supported releases - 

 

Resolution

The security conversion job INST0050 has to be run.

After running the INST0050 job, SYSVIEW should be accessed through TSO/ISPF. 

Incase Sysview from 16. to 17.0 and the security conversion was not done during upgrade and Job INST0050 was not run then a recycle is required to address the security conversion for R17.0
