Unable to run an execute a process job via Run Job action in the process as well as from the action in the object

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to run an execute a process job via Run Job action in the process getting an error "BPM-0531: The job invoked from the step has failed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Create job definition by going to Administrator->Reports and Jobs
2. Job Definition Name = Data Extractor
Job Definition ID = data_ext
Content Source = Customer
Description = Data Extractor
Active flag is one
Executable Type = Java
Executable Name = com.niku.bpm.jobs.ExecuteProcessJob
Enable Log = On
Enable Output = Yes
3. Click Save and Continue to go to Parameters tab
4. Create parameter 
Parameter Label = Process ID
Bind Parameter Code = param_process_code
Type = Browse (select Processes with no object association)
Default = Set to the process below that you will be creating (might have to set it to something else and once process is created go back and change to process)
Required = OFF
Read-only = ON
5. Click on Save and Return
6. Now create test process from where you will attempt to execute above created job via Run Job action
7. Validate and active the process.
8. Attempt to run the process from Organizer menu

Expected Results: You should be able to run the execute the process job from the process action

Actual Results: You get an error "BPM-0531: The job invoked from the step has failed."
