Issue/Introduction

A "simple" Workflow execution starts immediately as expected (Deployment Workflow run -> starts AE Workflow immediately).

Executions of Workflows that use dynamic properties with the property "Prompt on Execution", are systematically delayed. A workflow without "Prompt on Execution" flag checked on its dynamic properties, it starts immediately.

The experienced delay may have different duration. On a test environment this delay is around 45 to 60 seconds compared to the same workflow using dynamic properties without the checkbox " Prompt on Execution" activated. On production systems with intense activity this delay can go until to 25 minutes.

Environment

Release : 12.3  Component : RELEASE MANAGER

Cause

This is a bug of the CDA component that came up in version 10.0.3 of the Release Manager

Resolution

Problem resolution : Performance improvements for handling dynamic properties were implemented by adding DB indices.

The fix will be available in the version 10.0.7 of the Release Manager which will be available october 2021
