Different results when testing Unwanted App conditions

Issue/Introduction

In Symantec Endpoint Protection[SEP] Mobile Console, Setting for Apps, Unwanted Apps criteria, the simulation logic does not match all the filters/conditions used in Unwanted App incident creation.

Before applying the Unwanted Apps criteria rule, one can run the simulation test, the result of the simulation does not match the number of apps displayed in Apps >>Unwanted Apps filter tab.

List of apps displayed in Apps >>Unwanted Apps filter tab are the ones that have an associated Unwanted App incident.

The numbers are not correct in the simulation, off from the Unwanted Apps filter tab.

Applies to the current version of the SEP mobile console.

Resolution

It will be fixed in upcoming releases on the Symantec Endpoint Security [SES ] Platform, not on the current Standalone SEP Mobile console.
This document will be updated once the fix is released.
