Issue/Introduction

Receiving the following messages in an IMS batch job PGM+DFSRRC00 and do not know why.

ITK6403I PASSTHRU SUCCESSFULLY ESTABLISHED FOR DFSRRC00
ITK6403I PASSTHRU SUCCESSFULLY ESTABLISHED FOR DFSXLGI0

The job does not invoke any IMS utilities. It does however have the Database Organizer in the JCL.
The program runs successfully.

Without the Database Management for IMS for z/OS tools LOADLIB do not get these messages.

Resolution

You will see the PASSTHRU messages anytime the Database Management for IMS for z/OS tools version of a DFS module is executed.
It is informational and passing though does not hurt anything. The only way to stop them is to remove the Database Management for IMS for z/OS tools
load library from the concatenation. The Database Management for IMS for z/OS tools modules are there to intercept functions that we handle when
operating in compatibility mode.
