File Transfer between Target Servers

Issue/Introduction

Since CA PAM only options for file transfer is SCP or SFTP which only allows from users PC to server and vice versa.  

What method does CA suggest to use for file transfer from server to server?

Transferring from server to desktop then to server is not an option if there are DB files that are over 1TB.  

Resolution

PAM has no client or agent installation on target servers that would provide file transfer capability. This is outside of the scope of PAM.

Customers could install the A2A agent and develop a tool, or have it developed by the Services team, to provide file transfer with automatic injection of credentials as needed. This is outside of the scope of Support.

The A2A client on Unix can integrate with languages like Perl, C++, C, Korn Shell, C Shell, PHP, Python.
