Issue/Introduction

Introduction/Summary:

Installing ESP Workload Automation Report Server.

Environment

Release: ALL
Component: ESP Workload Automation Report Server

Resolution

ESP Workload Automation Report server is an add-on feature. It has its own FMID, but doesn't require any LMP keys. The user ID of Report Server STC needs read and execute permissions to the HFS directory of SMP/E target zone SEACPPATH. It has its own listening port to receive requests from ESP Workload Automation.

Database connected with Report Server can be updated in real-time or in batch mode.

Two ESP Workload Automation systems cannot connect to the same Report Server, but two Report Servers can use the same database and tables.

New SQL command was added to the existing history report (REPORT command) to allow users to select data from a database.

It needs a USS directory for install and real-time execution. The USS directory should be mounted all times.

EXAMPLE of the files created:

$ pwd
/CAI/ESP/ReportServer/seacpath
$ ls -l
total 544
