How to Enable Debug for SystemEDGE VCAIM

Environment

Release : 12.9

Component : VPM GENERAL

Resolution

1. Stop SystemEDGE Agent.

2. Navigate port# folder.

3. Edit sysedge.cf and make the following change:

sysedge_loglevel debug

sysedge_logfile sysedgedbg.log 100000 20

The second line will retain 100MB files x 20 before it rolls as this value is in KB.    

4.  Edit C:\Program Files\CA\SystemEDGE\plugins\cavmvcaim\cavmvcaim.xml

      <VerboseLevel>4</VerboseLevel>

 <MaxLogSize>1000</MaxLogSize>

5.  Start SystemEDGE

Reproduce the issue and attach the following:

1. PORT# folder

2. cavmvcaim.log
