Issue/Introduction

You want to stop and disable the Print Spooler service on all the Altiris servers (SMP and Site Servers). You want to verify this is not used by Altiris.

Environment

ITMS Versions 8.5, 8.6, 8.7

Resolution

The Print Spooler service is not required for the default functionality of the SMP server, Site Servers, Internet Gateway, and Symantec Management Agent. It can be disabled.
