Issue/Introduction

How can I uninstall AAI on Linux to allow for a new installation?

Environment

Release : 5.8.6

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR BMC

Resolution

1.  Stop the AAI service.

/<Install Dir>/./jaws.sh stopsync

2. There is a uninstall script in the root of the installation directory that can be run

/<Install dir>/./uninstall

3. Then the install directory should be deleted.

rm -rf /<Install Dir>/

4. Drop the database.

Additional Information

You can export all of your jobstream definitions before you were to uninstall if you wanted, then import them into a new installation.
