Error: "Destination drive to small" while creating an image

Issue/Introduction

While creating an image, an error is displayed:

Destination drive is to small

Environment

GSS 3.x

Cause

When saving an image to a drive, the amount of drive space required is calculated. If the destination drive does not have enough drive space then the error is produced.

Resolution

Possible Solutions:

• Free up drive space on the destination drive
• Try to compress the image using the parameter -Z(n) where n equals 1 - 9. The higher the value the higher the compression level. For more information see KB article Alphabetical list of Ghost command line parameters
