Custom Gatelet is Unable to Block uploads

Issue/Introduction

The CASB custom gatelet is unable to block uploads for Pixnet.net and Mega.io SaaS applications.

 

Resolution

The custom gatelet feature may be unable to detect and block SaaS apps from uploads depending on unique factors of the SaaS.  Symantec is looking to enhance the custom gatelet to better protect SaaS apps.

An ISFR-1833 has been created for the product team to examine possible enhance the product.

Additional Information

As a workaround the local firewall or proxy could block access to applications that the custom gatelet is unable to protect.  Another option maybe to use a Access Enforcement Policy to CASB to block the login to these applications.
