If an administrator with the Basic Administrator role navigates to the System / Clustering page in the administration console of Encryption Management Server, the delete buttons are enabled.
If the administrator clicks on the delete button, the cluster member does not get deleted and instead the administrator is logged out of the console. The Administration log does not contain any entries relating to the deletion action.
Symantec Encryption Management Server release 3.4.2 and above.
Administrators with the Basic Administrator role do not have permission to delete cluster members. Only administrators with the Full Administrator role or SuperUser role can delete cluster members.
