Print Spooler vulnerability - (Windows default Service, not UIM Service)

Issue/Introduction

There are vulnerabilities detected on primary hub and UMP server, the security team is going to disable "Print Spooler" services on both servers.

Is there any impact on the CA Monitoring tool if that service is disabled.

Resolution

Print Spooler service is not a Nimsoft UIM Service, but Windows Service.

Windows Print Spooler that's responsible for managing all print jobs getting sent to the computer printer or print server. The print spooler program allows a user to delete a print job being processed or otherwise manage the print jobs currently waiting to be printed.

So you can stop it and will not cause any trouble to the UIM Tool
