How to catalog JARS tapes

Issue/Introduction

Our JARS tapes are not cataloged. The CASFDUMP task builds the tapes as DISP=(,KEEP). I would like to change this to DISP=(,CATLG). Would this create any issues for JARS? Also want to go back and catalog our previously created JARS tapes.

Resolution

There is a CATLG operand on the OPTIONS, DUMPOPTIONS and STREAMOPTIONS statements.  If you recompile your configurations (after taking a BACKUP) with CATLG set on all of those, all future dumps will be cataloged as the dumps are produced. 

As for past (existing) dumps, you can have SMS catalog them.
