Autosys Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

Our Autosys servers will be migrated through V2V copy from VMware to GCP. There will be no changes in the FQDN of the servers but IP addresses will be changed.
Which files/items might need to be checked?

Environment

CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AE

Resolution

Following list of files where hostnames/ip-addresses could be mentioned

For Autosys

1. $AUTOUSER/config.$AUTOSERV
2. $AUTOUSER/autosys.*.*
3. <system_agent_path>/agentparm.txt
4. /etc/auto.profile
5. /etc/auto.$AUTOSERV
6. /home/autosys/.bash_profile

You might also have defined hostname/ip-addresses in jobs/machines

1. autorep -J ALL -q
2. autorep -M ALL -q

Check if you have users specified in autosys_secure, especially super exec/edit if native security is used where hostname/ip-address is being used

For WCC,

check the Configuration tab and look how you have defined the AE Server. Check this field " Application Server Host Address"

For EEM

If you are using AutoSys WebServer you will want to also check the %AUTOUSER%/eiam.ws.config for the EEM backend hostname
