How to refresh a PTF in CSM, using SO15859 as an example.

Issue/Introduction

I'm in MSM attempting to install maintenance and getting the error:

Maintenance package containing prerequisite fix SO15859 is marked as not installable. If this package has been added 
      manually please make sure that it has been inserted into the Software Catalog without any warnings. If the 
      maintenance package has been inserted by PAS please contact CA Technical Support.

 

How can I refresh a PTF in CSM to get a valid copy?

Environment

Release : 15.0

Component : CCS390 - CA COMMON SERVICES FOR Z/OS

Resolution

From the products tab locate common services for z/OS - MVS and click on 15.0 to display the maintenance as shown below. Locate on the list SO15859:

 

Right click on action then click delete:

 

After it is deleted right click on 'add external maintenance' 

 

Click solution and enter the PTF as shown here:

Click ok to reload the PTF then retry the install.
