dashboard designer - in the text widget link field, not possible to delete single/final parameter

Issue/Introduction

If you have a dashboard widget such as Text or Image that allows you to create a link to a URL/Dashboard, you have the option to add parameters to the URL.

If you create such a link with more than one parameter, and you delete all but one and save the dashboard, you are unable to delete the final parameter - the delete option remains grayed out.

Or, if you create a single parameter and change your mind, you can't delete it - the "trash can" icon remains grayed out.

Resolution

This issue (DE506202) is resolved by applying UIM 20.3.3 July 2021 patch or later.
