Issue/Introduction

This techical article documents an issue where the sap_basis reports the following errors: 

#SID: GEV The monitor SAPLicense.SAP License Status on XXXXXXXXX:100 is outside expected limits (null < 90);
#SID: GEV The monitor UpdateRequests.Update Status on XXXXXXXXX:100 is outside expected limits (null != 1);
Self-Monitoring Failures for 'XXXXXXXXX:RFCDestination.ARFCSSTATE Outbound tRFC Calls.Calls with Execution Errors SYSFAIL': Data Collection (1 of 1 failed).
Self-Monitoring Failures for 'XXXXXXXXX:SAPLicense.License expiration days': Data Collection (1 of 1 failed).
Self-Monitoring Failures for 'XXXXXXXXX:UpdateRequests.UpdateServices.Update Status': Data Collection (1 of 1 failed).

Resolution

Please ensure that the metrics are captured from the following route at the SAP level: 

RZ20 transaction → SAP CCMS Technical
Expert Monitors -> All Monitoring Contexts -> Update -> UpdateServices
