Issue/Introduction

The S450 messaging gateway appliance does not have a remote access card like the Dell models.

SMG 10.7.4

SMG S450

Cause

Need for OSrestore during disaster recovery.

Resolution

The S450 devices are USB bootable as the first boot device.

Thus no Broadcom action is needed to reimage the device using the ISO file.

For example tools like Rufus or Etcher can be used on Windows to prepare the OS USB stick.
