When a technician browses to a computer record in Manage > Computers and selects the software tab, nothing is displayed. Users are in a Custom Security Role and they thought this used to display data.
"Read" system permissions are missing on "Inventory" Data Classes in Security Role Manager.
In the Console, open up Security Role Manager for the Role you'd like to change. View > All Data Classes. Select Inventory, and give it system permissions > Read. Save Changes.
